HPCL LNG Eligibility Criteria 2025
1. AVP: Fire, Safety & Security (E6 Grade)
Educational Qualification:
- Full-time engineering degree in Fire, or
- Full-time engineering degree in Safety, or
- Full-time engineering degree with PG Diploma in Fire/Safety
Required Experience:
- Minimum 18 years, including 5 years in:
- Large Hydrocarbon Sector
- Process/Continuous Process Plants
- Fertiliser Plants
- Manufacturing Plants (Min turnover ₹500 Cr)
- 2 years in a managerial role is mandatory.
2. Senior Officer: Fire (E1 Grade)
Educational Qualification Options:
- Full-time engineering degree in Fire,
- Or engineering degree + Degree/Diploma in Fire,
- Or full-time engineering degree with experience in hydrocarbon sector.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years in firefighting management in:
- Hydrocarbon sector
- Process Plants
- Fertiliser Plants
- Heavy Industry
- Manufacturing Plants (₹500 Cr turnover)
Additional Requirement:
- Knowledge of Gujarati language is desirable.

Key Job Responsibilities
AVP: Fire, Safety & Security
- Lead the entire Fire, Safety & Security operations of LNG Terminal
- Conduct safety inspections, audits & mock drills
- Maintain HSE manuals, SOPs, OISD compliance
- Oversee emergency preparedness & disaster management
- Coordinate with Police, Coast Guard, Fire Services, IB
- Manage hazardous materials and wastewater discharge
- Ensure maintenance of fire systems & equipment
Senior Officer: Fire
- Conduct fire inspections & maintain equipment records
- Monitor fire protection systems & hydrants
- Conduct fire drills, mock drills, and squad training
- Maintain fire tenders, extinguishers, nitrogen cylinders
- Participate in internal fire audits
- Ensure emergency response readiness
